Birdwatching

Experience the rich and fascinating nature of the Atlantic Forest.

More than 200 species of bird have been catalogued in our 55 acres of land, many of which are native to the region.

The trails in the preserved Atlantic Forest and the welcoming hospitality services of Cantos da Mata make it the perfect place to practice birdwatching.

Our amenities were designed to provide a connection to nature and closeness to the local fauna and flora.

The charm of birdwatching

Birdwatching is an activity that has seen growing popularity in Brazil while also contributing to the preservation of nature. Our country has one the highest indexes of bird diversity in the planet, counting over 1,900 species.

Cantos da Mata promotes birdwatching by welcoming groups that are interested in this practice and offering support to their activities.

We strive to recommend the best guides and activities to our guests, offering the necessary resources for the practice of birdwatching in our property and trails or in nearby ecological parks.
